Waterfall Braid tutorial ♥

Hey dolls,

Hope you are all well. I, like many other bloggers, have just finished my A level exams and therefore blogging has taken a back seat for a while, but I am back and ready to blog again :)

Summer is finally upon us and at this time of year I always love to braid my hair. My new obsession is the waterfall braid as it looks lovely with beach waves. It is quite tricky the first few times but once you get around which pieces go where you'll be able to do it quickly and as easily as a normal braid.

Start with a long parting on one side of your head.

Then split your hair into a small section at the front.

Braid as usual for about two rotations.

Now drop the bottom piece of the braid (I like to grip it with my lips as it keeps it out of the way).

Now pick up a new bottom piece from the rest of your hair.

Add a small amount of hair to the top piece of the braid only.

Continue dropping, getting a new bottom section and joining hair to the top section each time you braid the hair and you will begin to see something like this.

Once you reach the back of the head, you can either bobble the waterfall braid off or continue to a regular braid.

This is the final look. I think it looks lovely with natural wavy hair for that boho look!

I hope my steps were easy to follow - as always if you have any questions just comment below.
